One need in identified in our community by parents, is for more attention on developing and nurturing the faith and lives of parents. How are we building up the parents of our communities to be faith leaders and faith nurturers in their homes? Home is a place and a center of relationships where so much life-giving ministry and formation happens.
Elijah’s Cave is offering the parents of our churches, as well as inviting parents from the larger community, nurturing opportunities by having speakers come in and lead short evening workshops on questions and challenges that face parents and families with school-age children.
This program is made possible through a vision grant with the Southwestern Texas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
